Cape Hatteras Secondary School

Welcome to Cape Hatteras Elementary School. CHES is a Pre-K through fifth grade school. Along with the academic subjects, CHES is proud to offer art, music, Spanish, and physical education classes to our students. We offer the latest in technology and media resources to assist our students in their studies, and we integrate fully across all subject areas.

Our school had a fantastic 2008-2009 school year.  With an even greater emphasis on teaching and learning, we are looking forward to another productive year in 2009-2010. Here at Cape Hatteras Elementary we are striving to be a true Professional Learning Community (PLC) where all of our students have their needs met. Parents can be an important part of a PLC by volunteering in the classroom. One-on-one help for children with reading, math, or writing is invaluable.
